Head in the Clouds

This piece is part of a 12-work collection that explores how society smoothes over mental illness with distorted phrases such as “She’s just got her head in the clouds” or “He’s got nothing going on upstairs.” I wanted to visually interpret these idiomatic expressions through my artwork to expose how quick we are to oversimplify or entirely disregard mental health.
